the opening was last night. huge crowd that kept coming and going. every ten minutes it seemed like it was all new people. 11 people unrelated and unknown to me, touched me. i was pretty freaked out for a lot of it. like being in the city. noone unknown really talked to me about the big drawing. mark perlaman said he liked it and where/how i am working. i overheard an older west-county looking guy mentioning how kurt teaches @ ssu, and now there is a "whole school of people" who draw like him. i was a bit exasperated by that, but i didnt bother confronting him as i dont think it is true. i know anyone who has had kurt as a prof has had to deal with that as well. as far as i know, noone bought anything of mine, though many things seemed to sell. met some knew people who are interested in drawing night. had some funny coincedences. oh i met the lady that bought this years ago, that was pretty cool.

unrelated and unknown people seemed to like the big drawing, but noone really wanted to discuss it. im not sure what i was expecting. maybe i wanted people not to like it, or to get up in my face about it. or just to talk about art.

Nice, sounds good. hope all your stuff sells, an the show gives you enough fame to get enough work to leave your computer job an solely live off art. Cause you definitely have potential. Any talks about another show? Perhaps in the new year or before? Maybe have a show in canada? lol... that'd be sweet

That's a good-sized crowd. Looks like it would have been very exciting.
