So what are you showing in the show? Obviously drawings, but any speccific pieces?

i reworked the hell out of a drawing that i did for a book. it was the weakest of 4 and was 'rejected' so i went over it like crezzy. i havent scanned/uploaded yet because it needs a little bit more something.

the show is a small works groupshow so the one drawing is it.

All I can say is Wow! It looks fantastic. So where does all this metamorphosis come from? You obviously have been very interested in this idea of merging animals together, and I am just curious where it comes from. The drawing is beautiful...as always. :)

i don't know, whether it is laze or inability to finish a thought before moving on to the other, or total disregard for the way things should be.

if you look at it rat side down, there are 3 rodent skulls rotating up, and i was just thinking of this rat moving while looking up.

i was thinking about the disease and malice people carry inside them, and breeding that illness together.

it's probably the result of too much thinking and not enough drawing.

also only only vagina in this one and only to come back at people when they ask where the vaginer is.

"only one"

There is no such thing as too much thinking and not enough drawing. No sense in drawing shitloads of material if the thought isn't there. But then again, someitmes you need to 'Just Draw' as you would put it.

I remember you once said to me that you fear you are all style and no substance. I still feel that this couldn't be further from the truth. I think you are just too modest to openly say that a drawing was inspired by 'x' event or 'x' thought.

So when are you gonna come show in Portland? This is a city that would just drool over your art. This town LOVES skillfully drawn "psychedelia." :)
