work. jobsite. home. some not-surprising news from shawn and sil. no drawing, but champagne instead. also: crystal chronicles. with regards to the other morning's wake up call; my dear administrative assistanty coworker friend is pregnant, you know the one.
crit?: 1whoa. the headache was bad, the nausea was bad, the real kicker was the spins. bleh. i de-hungover several hours later. ern's dad from oregon accidently left all of his school stuff at our place. he figured it out and came back for them, which means he wont get back home till nigh 4a. shawn and silvaniecame over, as there wasnt any way i was going to make it to coffee. though, i got a lot better and eventually just was ok with a slight blehness. the boys and the girls went to the mall. us boys got video game stuff, crystal chronicles and shawn got the cubey zelda game. we came back and played, the girls walked home. we watched a couple of movies. ern and i went and got some light stuff for lunches @ trader joe's. i'm warming up to trader joe's. it's hard to despise tjoe's when they do have good food. that checker looked at me funny, so i'll hold on to that i guess. went to bed early to recoup.
crit?: 1ern's dad came down last night. we prepared for the housewarming party, which was today. the party was a success, i think, everyone seemed to have a good time. the firepit and fireplace, both got use. heavy use. we also drank ag ood amount of wine. i'm not sure how many people came, maybe 30 at most? the house and yard could handle it. the house and yard were built for it. noone called the cops, though i'm not sure if we were loud as i was drunk. i was probably loud too.

work, lunch, left early to take ern to school, picked up a compy, then tore room apart for furniture delivery tomorry. went to pick ern up form school, stopped and got chinese from china light, got home, ate, called tow truck to cart her truck away. bed.

today is a day off. on my day off i went to a custy's house and worked for a little while. drove througha flooded area twice. came home, ate lunch. ern's truck is dead again in the same way. she's incredibly frustrated with it. her and my mom went to costco to get party stuff for next weekend, and i went to my second job of the day. drove for over an hour, through 2 badly flooded secitons to get to the site and find out that the comcast folk had left the HSI filter on the line, even though their orders were for an HSI compat. install. so that sucked some ass. fixed some other stuff then went home. shawn and silvanieand julian and robin came over and we had a big draw night. had a couple of successful images ocome of it, which i will scan later.
crit?: 0went to coffee with shawn n sil, then went to consignment shops looking for used nightstands. not finding any thing we ended up going to actual furniture stores. found a bedroom set we liked so we bought it. we now will take delivery of a mission style bed, 2 nightstands and large dresser on thursday. we're going to pick up a tall dresser and rotating vanity mirror later on.
crit?: 1woke up nice, had breaky, ern sold a copy of her notes to a student for some good money. her ex-fiance came over (he came over from connecticut to visit a friend) talked with him and ern's friend for a while. made a lemon merengue pie went over to parents and had a very nice dinner. talked with them a while then went home and looked at pictures. it wasnt anythign terribly special, but it was a very nice day.
