woke early, drove to healdsburg, found a cat we liked, started adoption thing. (the cat looks like an ewok, but i can't name it "yubnub") after that, went to the city to the exploditorium thing ern needed for her calss. went to teh haight after that then to her cousins house for dinner with her family. her cousin has a nice house down caesar chavez, and it has a backyard. weird eh? after that we got cruisey with SF, then home late.

landlord called early to tell us we could get a cat. went to coffee with shawn and sil, left shortly after. went out looking for pound kitties. ended up in RP, looking at adult cats. saw one we liked but the sign lied, it was much much older than 7yrs. another cat we liked got overwhelmed and scratched my hand. ern dceided she'd like a kitten. we went new car test-driving afterwards, ern is kinda thinking about buying a car. home, we cleaned the house good, i did some laundry. a washcloth was in the flow sink so it plugged and flooded the laundry room, but we caught it before it was too bad. watched "my life without me" terrible sad movie, slightly predictable, but easy to get lost in.
crit?: 1betty's old ram (128mb) works in ern's 12"pb, so she has 384mb now. woo! last night i got 3 fitted dress shirts @ macy's for $60. that's incredible. i don't think i've ever seen fitted shirts for sale @ macy's. now i won't look like i wore my parachute to work. we went to juanthong ban boa afterwards and had yummy thai. picked up some ice cream and went home to watch rain man. definitely.
today ern went to get a manicure and a pedicure, i stayed @ home and drew. couldnt find a pencil i liked so i rode the bike down to corricks then over to shawn's work. home, drawing for more time. set up shop in the atrium. there is great surrounding light in there. after that, ern came home and we met silvanieand shawn @ ting hau's for china food. home for a minit then we went over to parents for dinner. lindsay was home and she, talked to mom and dad. came home. i fell asleep on ern. completely 100% the opposite of normal. though, i think she slipped me a mickey.

went home, ern-girl made porkchops, we smothered them in blusecheese. so good. drove out to screamin' mimi's for some ice cream afterwards, then home, i resumed drawing for a while, put her to bed then went back to drawing. tried some new things. dropped my precocious preciousity. but i didnt do the ups/hello my name is trick. no sir. no scan though. not just yet.
today is the first day of the rest of my (new) life. i expect the drawing quality and quantity to go up dramatically now. hold me to it if it doesn't though. that newly primed canvas needs love. the girl gave me a haircut last night, and it looks pretty good today. she wasn't as nervous as the last time so i got more removed. the 512mb for betty should be here today. pillow talk into the night, then sleep
