I was talking to you the other day online when my computer crashed, i;m the guy you had thought had the same art teacher as u in the 5th grade. Anyways, i tried what you told me about the rubbing alcohol thing, it's friggin awesome. do you have any other tips or suggestions, like techniques that you use? I'd appreciate it, you're an amazing artist and i want to learn how to do what you do.

i use gesso layering way more than the alcohol thing. draw normally with ballpoint, then take white acrylic gesso and thinly paint over the top so you can still see your drawing. then when it draws draw bakck over the top. it should be richer and translucent.

only problem with the gesso thing is that the ballpoint fades a lot quicker then if it's on paper.

yeah, ballpoint is going to fade if you keep it in light/air. keep that in mind. on the gesso, in light it turns an odd yellow.

drawings i have drawn and kept in frame havent faded, but anything in the sun dissapears.
