drove to stump beach, which is beyond salt point (beyond fort ross) for ian's going away party. he and his gf, trish, are going away to south carolina. they dont have jobs or housing lined up, but they are going anyway. we had a picnic up at the wooded parking area, it was pretty blustery there. the beach was worse i heard. didnt actually make it down there.
