slept in relatively late. the dogs are a small noisy herd of gimme gimme, so only so much sleeping can be done once dawn approaches. managed to feed and potty them then boot them outside without waking ern. woke her up nicely, then we made our traditional sunday morning pancakes. sofie doesnt have dry measures that i could find, so i eyeballed the bisquick. i added more milk then normal and little bit of oil, trying to make them nice and thin, almost crepey. they came out awesome, we ate them with jam and whipped cream. yum. chores with intermittent lazing, then it was all of a sudden 3. we headed in to calistoga for some lunch, and being tha tit was pretty hot we got some ice cream. back to sofies, finished with chores and left. but i forgot to feed the dogs, so i reveresed up the driveway and fed them. then home! got the car washed (sofie's drive is unpaved and long) i couldnt even see out the back window, only headlights. picked up 2 movies. 6ft under season 2 disk 3 (whoops, exchanged) and FLCL fooly cooly foolie cooli furi kura, which is absurd. i only made it through 2 episodes but it is a fast mix of inanity and insanity. so many neat drawing tricks, and apeing of many different styles of drawing. fuel for the MDI fire. worth a rent.
