Today is the 6th birthday of this site, just like dooce. Pie all around.
In the beginning it was fun and new,
then it became work
then it became neglected
then it came into focus
now it's pretty lonely but I'm attempting to produce and update with less fluff.
Less "because I can" and more "because it is deserved"
It's shaping how I draw and approach things.
I'd rather not bore what audience I have with lame product. 5 'meh' images a day or week will never equal 5 'worthwhile' images a month. The numbers keep going up so I guess it's working. I don't have a lot of feedback here anymore, but I understand that DM is alienating and lonely.

I can remember a time where, as a point of pride, I wouldn't let a single day go by without an update. I can remember posting too many images, and not holding enough back. I can remember posting what I thought was golden doodles every day. I remember posting multiple images per day even. I can remember this because I put it here. I referenced this as my own memory, and still do occasionally.
Anyway, here's to six more years.
Thanks for your support.

show.

"Shocking True Confessions" Group Show
Opening: Saturday, February 10th - 28th at:
Boomerang Gallery
46 Kentucky Street
Petaluma, CA 94952

I also kindly direct your attention to Jeffrey Seaberg's art and site.

also: show was great/successful; thanks to all who came out, and thanks to whomever sent me the viddy re: Adamo Macri (apparently Adamo sent this? nice drawings anyway). Last but not least, here are some progress scans of the above. Things came in big waves as I was frustrated and pushing, hence the lack of fine detail. Additionally it's a small drawing so the progress shots don't show much variation.
