Server blew up hard at work. While I'm waiting for files to restore I cobbled this together: ericthomasbostrom.com. I wanted to use lightbox2 but it's actually kinda janky. Right now this is auto-generating content via some php i wrote which passes through cabel zoom. i need to write something up to append title/errata.
edit: wrote something that looks for a txt file that matches the image name and renders as title. also added a bunch of other junk. drop a picture, thumb and txt into a dir and it will generate everything automatically. trying to decide how many i want to show.
I'm still working on that new drawing that I'm excited about, but no time to scan.
It was a great show and I met a lot of fantastic artists. One person in particular, Nomi Chi, creates some amazing amazing art... It doesn't translate to internet very well, you really have to see it in person.
also: from now on, this site will continue to be the unprofessional mess that it is, and my new site: http://www.ericthomasbostrom.com will be my main portfolio/seriousbusiness site. Everything that goes there will be here too, but I'm going to keep the crap lunch doodles and sketchbooks and blog stuff here, using ericthomasbostrom.com for only the stuff that rises up and show information.
also also: i cleared room in my studio to start painting again, i will post pics, it looks so great and i hope i've cast off the shadow that has been keeping me out of it.
