today started off not so great. then we went up past healdsburg to lytton springs which was ok, then the day started sucking again. i havent had a "should have stayed in bed" day in a while. i hit my knee, bonked my nose twice, tripped on 2 different things, the kitchen sink broke.... bleh.

worked. got my security deposit back from old house. shawn and silvaniecame over and we (sil) made pizza. then drawing. but not too much drawing. not enough drawing.

woke up early, ern made cookies while i made mistakes. met shawn and silvaniefor not-really-morning-but-lunchtime coffee like normal. we're going to start heading over earlier in the morning. after coffee we went to the mall and got ern a watch and clothing. then target, she bought mario sunshine for the cube. home again, parents came over to see the place, she finished baking cookies. then i set up music for the studio, cleaned and puttered while ern played 5.5hrs of video games. crikey she's got endurance. this weekend we finally felt like we got to _live_ in our house.
crit?: 2woke up early, ern went to the city to hang out with solvay (sp?, hi solvay!) and i went to work @ a custy's house. 4hrs later and i resumed normal weekend chores. i was finally able to replace my headlight. then i left my lights on while i went into target for cleaning supplies and ern friendly detergent. went and got groceries, did laundry. shawn and silvaniecame over in the evening and we played video games and watched a movie, the swimming pool. i stayed awake, though i can't say the same for mon chi chi.

after work went home for a minute and picked up ern for one of her coworker's kids' bday party @ chuckecheeses. had a beer, got tipsy, had some pizza, had some more beer, had a good time. havent been tipsy in a while. we went home and started watching donnie darko. ern fell asleep on me like normal, then i fell asleep like ern. we went to bed a little later, went to sleep. i woke up @ 2:30a with that uh-oh feeling. pizza didnt sit right and i got sick.

crit?: 0work. got more stuff done today then i've been able to get done in the last several weeks. got marketing copy back, boss had written "good job!" on it, so i scissored it off of the page and taped it to my monitor. ern came to work for lunch, there werent very many people to meet as most folk took today off. we had portuguese for lunch, sammiches were slightly dry, soup was bland. the coke was good though. after work i picked up my car from the mechanic where it was having new oil put in it. there was a drunk driving/sobriety checkpoint @ 5:20p on a friday.. odd. then they were waving everyone through. i was supposing that it was more of a sting thing to wait for either a specific car that took that route, or they were mebbe looking for something else. drove up to SR, dropped shawn's jacket off with sil, picked ern up for dinner. we went back to the brasserie. so friggin good. i had rare ahi with foie gras, ern had the dungeness crab gratineed swordfish (what i had last time) had a few drinks, killed my bug. i had freaked out at work a little bit, i think i may have just been tired or something. had a nice mousse and some iced cream for desert, waiter brought a martini by, on the house. went by target for girl supplies. home. it was a very big day.
